A conference discussing the “Amanda Knox Trial – If it Had Happened in the US”

An Italy-USA Foundation conference discussing the “Amanda Knox Trial – If it Had Happened in the US” will be held in Rome at 6:00 pm on March 18, 2010 at the Italian Parliament, Conference Hall of Palazzo Marini. The seminar will be introduced by the President of the Italy-USA Foundation, Hon. Rocco Girlanda. The panel participants include Atty. Anthony Sistilli, of the Novastudia Law Firm; Catherine Arcabascio, Dean of Nova Southeastern University Law Center of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and a co-founder of American-based organization The Innocence Project; Rebecca Spitzmiller, Faculty of Law at University Rome Tre; and Patricia Thomas of the Associated Press. The chairman of the discussion will be Moreno Marinozzi, Sky Tg24 journalist. The panel is being held with the purpose of comparing Italian and American judiciary systems in order to understand a possible verdict if a similar case had occurred in the United States.
