The Italy-USA Foundation hosted an official dinner in Rome for a delegation of American entrepreneurs led by Clarissa Burt, Director for Made in Italy in US on behalf of the Italy-USA Foundation. Gianpaolo Vallardi, Vicepresident of the Foundation, Corrado Maria Daclon, Secretary General of the Foundation, sen. Tony Iwobi, Councilor General of the Foundation, sen. The meeting was held in the frame of the cooperation between the Foundation and a group of American entrepreneurs to exchange info and projects.

The Italy-USA Foundation among the most important think tanks in Italy

The Italy-USA Foundation is one of the first five most important think tanks in Italy, according with the report Cogito Ergo Sum by the organization Openpolis. “Five organizations appear to have an impressive amount of connections with other organizations: Italianieuropei, Astrid, Fondazione Italia Usa, ItaliaDecide and Aspen. The people that make up these connections have variety of roles, that we organized in three groups. We analyzed two types of connections for each think tank: on one side the number of members also in other organizations, and on the other the amount of organizations that share at least one member”. The Italy-USA Foundation is the think tank with more connections: “In the group of 121 think tanks, Fondazione Italia Usa has most connections with other think tanks (23)”. The Foundation is not included in the lists of funding, because it’s not receiving any public contribution or sponsorship or advertising.

A special award will be conferred in memory of Bud Spencer, actor. The Italy-USA Foundation, in the frame of the America Award, will also confer three medals of the Italian Parliament to three students of American universities: Matthew P.
